BRANDING WORKSHOP


The focus of the workshop was to create fresh and ingenious branding concepts on the theme of Indian Spices. The work included Label Graphics, Marketing Strategy, Visual Concepts and Rendering of Stores and Shelf Space.

Initially starting with some creative techniques to uncover some visual elements and ideas for graphics work to be used later on labelling, the output at this stage was in the form of posters using some of the new elements.

Then onwards the workshop was split into groups, some working on graphics and some on the form and concept. I was involved in detailing of the concepts.

We then proceeded towards the point of sale and packaging.

Worked in a team to create a system to target a specific socio-economic problem, education in our case. We studied a pre-existing system and analysed the problems being faced in a local context.

In research, we conducted many User Interviews, Contextual Inquiries and Surveys. We studied how the existing systems are working on the ground.

Then we came up with our concept for a new system building on the strengths of current initiatives and making things more accessible to all people.

We modelled our concepts and also developed low fidelity prototypes and simulate the probable mechanism regarding the working of of our system.
